ASVAB Score Calculator (AFQT Percentile)
Your AFQT score is AR + MK + 2 × VE, using your standard scores, turned into a percentile from 1 to 99 with the Defense Department's table for its 1997 reference group of 18- to 23-year-olds.
Not an official source. Confirm any score requirement with a recruiter before you rely on it.
Enter all three standard scores to see your AFQT percentile.
Where to find VE
VE (Verbal Expression) is printed on your official ASVAB score report. It is worked out from your Word Knowledge (WK) and Paragraph Comprehension (PC) scores before they are rounded, so it can’t be calculated exactly from the rounded WK and PC numbers. If you only have WK and PC, this calculator can’t give an exact answer, and we don’t estimate one.

“Not confirmed” means we couldn’t find the figure on an official source for that branch, so ask a recruiter.
Method and source
The formula (AFQT = AR + MK + 2 × VE) and the percentile table come from the Defense Manpower Data Center report “Development and Evaluation of the 1997 ASVAB Score Scale” (2004), Table 2.5, published on the official ASVAB site. The table covers AR + MK + 2×VE sums from 109 to 269; scores outside that range are rejected so you can check them.
